Without a doubt, the judicial decision will mobilize progressives to the polls in 2016, according to Puerto Rican Democratic strategist Federico de Jesús.
“In less than ten years, public opinion now supports the civil rights of the LGBT community, and that puts conservatives on the defensive. This definitely activates the progressive base, it gives it a lot of energy,” he said.
Sin duda, el dictamen movilizará a las urnas a los progresistas en 2016, según el estratega demócrata puertorriqueño Federico de Jesús.
“En menos de diez años la opinión pública ahora apoya los derechos civiles de los homosexuales, y eso pone a los conservadores a la defensiva. Esto definitivamente activa a la base progresista, le da un fuerte impulso”, señaló.
